Privacy Policy

This policy describes what happens to information when you visit cloud10os.com. It is written to match what this website actually does, which is less than most privacy policies describe.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Messenger Communications Inc., which does business as Cloud10 Office Services (“Cloud10”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, Messenger Communications Inc. is the data controller for the information described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the public website at cloud10os.com and the pages linked from it that we operate.

It does not cover the communications services we sell and support — phone systems, AI voice agents, website chat, on-hold messaging, call recording and voicemail transcription. When we process information on behalf of a customer in the course of delivering those services, we do so as that customer’s service provider under our signed service agreement with them, and that agreement governs. Where that information includes protected health information covered by HIPAA, the handling of it is governed by a separate written Business Associate Agreement.

If you are a caller, patient or customer of a Cloud10 customer and your question is about a recorded or transcribed call, the business you called controls that recording, not us. Please contact that business directly. We will assist them in responding to you.

It also does not cover separate services with their own terms that we link to, including the Cloud10 Portal, the Zoho booking and service request forms, and the accounting portal. Those are covered in section 6.

3. Information you give us

There is no contact form on this website. Nothing on cloud10os.com collects your details and sends them to us. You reach us only by choosing to, in one of four ways:

  • Calling us on 315.314.8776. We keep the ordinary business record of a call — who rang, when, and what it was about.
  • Emailing support@cloud10os.com. We keep the email.
  • Booking a 15-minute communications analysis, which opens a scheduling page hosted by Zoho. You give your name, email, phone number and whatever you write in the booking notes.
  • Submitting a New Service Request, which opens a form hosted by Zoho. You give the contact and service details that form asks for.

We use what you give us to answer you, to prepare for and carry out the meeting you booked, to provide and support services you have asked for, and to keep our own business records. We do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of a service request.

4. What this site stores in your browser

This website sets no cookies. It stores two items in your browser’s local storage. Both stay on your device. Neither is transmitted to us, and there is no analytics or advertising account connected to this site that could receive them.

c10_intent

A record of what you did on the site — for example that you played the AI demo, used the missed-call calculator, opened an industry page or clicked a phone number — together with a numeric score we use to judge how interested a visitor is. It keeps at most the last 60 actions, with a timestamp and the page each happened on. It is discarded automatically 90 days after it is first created.

c10_attr

How you arrived: the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), the page you landed on, the address of the site that referred you, and the date. It is written only if you arrive with campaign tags or from a referring site, and it is not overwritten by later visits.

Neither item contains your name, email address, phone number or IP address, and we do not attempt to identify you from them. If you later give us your details through one of the routes in section 3, the two stored items are not attached to that enquiry automatically. Section 10 explains how to remove them.

5. Server logs

Like any website, cloud10os.com is served by a hosting provider that records standard request logs. These typically include your IP address, the time of the request, the page or file requested, your browser’s user agent string, and the referring address. They are generated and kept by the hosting provider for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis, and we access them only for those purposes.

6. Third parties

We do not embed advertising networks, social media trackers, session recorders, heat maps or third-party analytics on this site. The outside parties that receive anything at all are these.

Google Fonts

The site’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s font servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser makes that request directly, so Google receives your IP address and user agent as part of it. This happens on every page of the site. Google’s handling of that request is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.

Zoho

Booking, service request and accounting portal links open pages hosted by Zoho Corporation. Nothing is sent to Zoho unless you follow one of those links, and anything you then type goes to Zoho as our processor, under Zoho’s privacy terms as well as this policy.

Premier Stream

The on-hold audio sample on the homepage is hosted by a third-party streaming service at hostedonhold.com. Your browser contacts it only if you click to play the sample.

Cloud10 Portal

The portal at cloud10portal.com is a separate customer system with its own sign-in. Visiting this website does not send anything to it.

We may also share information with our professional advisers, with service providers who help us run the business, and with authorities where the law requires it.

7. How we use information

We use what we hold to:

  • reply to you and provide what you asked for;
  • provide, support, bill for and improve our services;
  • understand which of our pages and campaigns are working, using the in-browser record described in section 4;
  • keep our records, meet our legal and tax obligations, and establish or defend legal claims;
  • protect the site and our customers from abuse and fraud.

If the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, our lawful bases are: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one, for enquiries and service delivery; our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving a business website, for the items in section 4 and the logs in section 5; your consent, where we ask for it; and compliance with a legal obligation, where one applies.

8. Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not trade, rent or exchange contact details with other businesses, including businesses we partner with.

9. How long we keep it

  • The two browser items in section 4 expire on your device: the behaviour record 90 days after it is created, the arrival record when you clear it.
  • Enquiries, emails and call records are kept for as long as we are dealing with you, and then for as long as we need them for our business records, legal obligations and any potential claim.
  • Customer records are kept for the life of the account and the period afterwards required by our tax, accounting and contractual obligations.

10. Your choices

To remove what this site has stored on your device, clear site data for cloud10os.com in your browser. In most browsers this is under Settings → Privacy → Cookies and site data, or by opening developer tools and clearing local storage for this site. Browsing in a private or incognito window prevents anything being kept past the session. Nothing on the site stops working if you do either.

To stop hearing from us, reply to any email from us and say so, or call 315.314.8776. We do not run a bulk marketing list from this website, so there is usually nothing to unsubscribe from.

Blocking Google Fonts, if you wish to, is done through your browser or an extension; the site remains readable in a fallback typeface.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to have it sent to another provider, and to withdraw consent you have given. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of them, email support@cloud10os.com or call 315.314.8776. We will ask for enough information to be confident you are who you say you are, and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows. There is no charge.

If you are in the UK or EEA and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority. If you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to appeal a refusal and to contact your state Attorney General.

If your question is about a recorded or transcribed telephone call, please read the note in section 2 first — the business you called is the one that holds it.

12. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We restrict access to enquiry and customer records to the people who need it, and we hold our own systems to the standards we sell. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent to us over the internet or by telephone.

13. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we have no reason to. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes

If we change how this site handles information — for example if we connect an analytics account, add a contact form or introduce a chat widget — we will update this policy and change the “last updated” date above before the change goes live. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page for a reasonable period.
